About Manna Outreach, Inc.
Manna exists to assist residents from the following zip codes: 45204, 45205, and 45238.
An ecumenical inter-agency collaborative entity, Manna provides food and other emergency assistance and respects all clients by treating them with dignity at all times.
Referrals to other appropriate services are given as needed.
Manna is staffed and run completely by volunteers! Our Volunteer Coordinator and assistants manage Manna. They insure the clients are well served, organize volunteers, keep track of the food inventory, coordinate food deliveries and donations, and do paperwork and reporting.
Location and Hours
Manna operates in the basement of BLOC Ministries in Price Hill on the corner of McPherson and Van Vey Avenues. Manna is open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each Wednesday, and the 3rd & 4th
Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Some Statistics
Manna Outreach, Inc. opened its doors in 1998. Each year, the need for help increases and our services are used by more families in need of food.
In 2011, we served 4,882 families. That means that we gave out over 9,700 bags of groceries in just one year, helping over 400 families each month. A total of 19,847 individuals, 10,402 of those being children and 600 at or over the age of 60.
With the help of many generous doners we gave out thousands of toys in December, with many of these children the only thing Santa will bring them.
